COVID Chronicles: Inspire Investing is Making Headlines

September 11, 2020

Faith-based investing has always been a central focus at CWM. We believe that an investor should be able to put money into companies who align with their personal values. We would go so far as to say that how one makes money is the most important step of financial stewardship, even above spending wisely and diligently saving. We love celebrating investment companies that champion that cause allowing investors to have more great quality options. Inspire Investing is one such company, and they are making headlines.

It's been roughly 4 years since Inspire investing was formed. For the uninitiated, Inspire Investing was launched as a faith-based asset management firm in 2015. They started out by creating BRI (Biblically Responsible Investing) portfolios which they used to manage assets for clients. Yet, God had bigger plans for them.

In February of 2017, they launched two ETF's, Inspire Global Hope (BLES) and Inspire Small/Mid Cap Impact (ISMD). It turns out that there was a huge demand and need for faith-based ETF's. By May 2018 their assets under management surpassed $200M and they launched two additional ETF's. Christian financial advisors and asset managers across the nation were utilizing Inspire's ETF's to align their practices' and their clients' money with biblical values.

Fast forward to today and they have over $700M in assets under management and have been recognized as one of the fastest growing investment companies in the nation. This only touches on the business accolades that Inspire has attained. Along the way they have participated in amazing works of charity including digging a fresh water well in Birendranagar, Nepal and adopting a village in Guatemala to boost the local economy and to spread the Gospel.

This is why I use their ETF's for many of my client's portfolios. The work that they are doing in the world of finance and for faith-based investors is transformative and inspiring. If you would like to learn more about Inspire Investing and how you can own faith-based investments, please reach out to me. I would love to help you put your money where your values are.
